Dickens' birthday was celebrated all over the web yesterday, including on the Google icon!
Most people by the time they reach adulthood, will have read at least one Dickens novel, probably it is Great Expectations. High school students either love or hate being assigned Great Expectations. In my case, more than 40 years later, I still remember the effect that the description of Miss Havisham's home had on me! Powerful writing! Look for Dickens' novels in F DIC.
